MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

Tim London Called the meeting to order at 4:08 PM.

 

A motion to accept the March 21 meeting minutes was made by Tony Beran, supported by Larry Reaman. Motion carried.

 

A motion to accept the Agenda was made by Bill Jakobi, seconded by Bill Carpenter. Motion Carried.

OLD BUSINESS

CHER CAP            Tim gave a CHER CAP update. He pointed out that FEMA would be visiting Iosco and Alcona counties on May 21st, at 2:30 pm, at the County Line school. Tim stated he will send a letter to all agencies in Iosco and Alcona counties who should be attending the May 21st meeting. Larry asked about the status of the CHER CAP grant and Tim informed him he hoped to have some answers by May 21st.

 

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE            Tim London and Bill Carpenter updated the group on the turn-in scheduled for April 20th in Oscoda Township. The next scheduled HHW collection is on May 4th at the M-55/65 intersection (Citgo Station). Bill Carpenter gave out a list of everyone who had received a HHW flier.

 

NEW BUSINESS

TIER II REPORTS            Tim explained that there are many more TIER II reports for Iosco County than in years past. He attributed it to better understanding of the system by those responsible for reporting.
